Prohibited Items and Anti-Underdeclaration Policy

1. Purpose and scope

This draft policy applies to every product, listing, description, category, quantity, price, and pickup arrangement submitted through BuyPass PH.

It is intended to protect buyers, sellers, transport participants, and the platform from unsafe, unlawful, misleading, or improperly declared transactions.

2. Prohibited items

Users must not offer illegal drugs, weapons, explosives, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, unlawful wildlife products, hazardous materials, recalled products, or any item whose sale, possession, transport, or pickup is prohibited by applicable law.

This list is a draft placeholder and is not exhaustive. The final policy should identify regulated and age-restricted goods, required permits, and product-specific restrictions after legal and operational review.

3. Accurate declaration

A seller must accurately declare the product name, type, condition, quantity, unit, price, weight or size when relevant, pickup requirements, and any material restrictions.

Splitting, disguising, misclassifying, undervaluing, or omitting product details to avoid fees, review, legal requirements, transport restrictions, or platform controls is prohibited.

4. Verification and enforcement

BuyPass PH may request documents or clarification, pause or remove a listing, preserve relevant records, restrict marketplace features, or refer a matter to an authorized administrator when a listing may violate this policy.

Account suspension, legal reporting, retention, appeals, and enforcement timelines must follow the final approved policy and applicable law. Automated signals alone should not make irreversible account decisions.

5. Reporting and questions

Users may report a suspected prohibited or inaccurately declared listing through the in-app reporting tools. Reports are reviewed privately and do not by themselves establish a violation.
